Discrimination is crippling debate

Debate can be a healthy process when it includes the pro and anti protagonists. It has worked politically and within higher education for many thousands of years.

However today “debate” has to be safe, has to be sanitized, has to conform to very strict limits.

Watching the US University Campus approach to freedom of speech it is clear that there is very little room for opposing views therefore the events become rallies and confrontational.

Discrimination is illegal

In the US and Europe discrimination is illegal and freedoms are enshrined in legal precedents therefore there is an automatic restriction on how individuals engaging in open forum conversations should treat each other and their audience.

The primary point of discrimination is that intellectuals and activists have decided for themselves that the members of the audience are too ignorant to come to rational conclusions.

Yes, I’m too stupid to understand the impact of the points being discussed therefore I need the educated classes to instruct me on what is right and wrong.

Liberal and Conservative weakness

Both resort to sensationalism to make their points, in approaching debate that way they degrade the tool. The fact or theory established on a premise of application and its consequence remains an unknown because rarely do we debate the established fact it is mostly our interpretation of those facts.

Opinions don’t make you right or wrong,  your opinions can be right or wrong but your actions really define your argument.

“I want to protect freedom of speech for everyone except him or her because what they say upsets me” Defining a disagreeable statement as “hate speech” isn’t a rational defense of freedom.

It is the action that the speech produces.

Christ said “do unto others as you would have them do to you”. If you need to be heard then you first need to learn to listen. To win a debate find the common ground and then use the impact benefit approach to create a common cause. Rarely does anyone win the debate completely but losing shouldn’t cause anyone to take to the street.

We now live in angry, crazy and volatile world where emotions drive the media and political response. Remember all politicians are temporary drivers we are the custodians of the collective future. SO we need to learn to talk with diplomacy and change the direction of debate.

Modern debate is a call to the converted almost a religious fevour.

Wisdom IS required

Hate speech is all around us, whatever continent you live on people are angry and feel they have a right speak their mind regardless.

Words do great harm, poorly chosen words lead to injustice and cruelty.

For more than 150 years religious people have highlighted that we live in greatly troubled times. Humanity is running towards a brick wall.

Do we see evidence of what the Bible refers to as the Last Days?

Revision of previous points in blogs

In the early 1990’s I joined groups and fora to discuss the state of the world and why acquiring wisdom is a protection.

I decided to have a look at the key points of evidence of the ‘last days’ 25 years on. Pollution was an issue, as was climate change was being discussed (were we heading to an ice age or global warming?), political instability and social unrest.

Has our topic of conversation and evidence base change? No! the former facts are now accepted as a reality. In 1989 Worldwatch said ‘we only have years’ to begin to turn things around. Well the evidence shows that we haven’t achieved that basic change.

Warfare is at critical levels but the countries that are perpetuating the small wars are the world powers as they use weapons to underpin their economy and ensure that the developing countries remain dependent.

The population has grown to a point where it is clear that without radical political and social reform we are heading to a crisis point. (Download a bible at not cost)

1Pe 4:7   says: ‘But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore of sound mind, and be sober unto prayer:’ ASV
Byington renders that passage as “therefore be sane”
Earlier Peter had begun this portion with these words:  “For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries” ASV
Peter had also identified a common train of ridicule that those who decide to look at the truth of bible would be viewed as fools, would be ridiculed but notice why wisdom is involved when Peter says the following:
1Pe 4:15  For let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil-doer, or as a meddler in other men’s matters but if a man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this name.
So we have a choice. Those who express their personal displeasure through riots, rebellion, direct action would be understood to be evil-doers.
To suffer as a Christian, to be branded as extremists or non-citizens and denied basic rights for that stand clearly is a good reason for standing up.
We have prayed for Gods Kingdom and as advocates of that kingdom we can embrace that ruler now as subjects of that kingdom. We need to acknowledge that there isn’t a person, government or ideology that has the answers required to resolve all of humankinds problems.
We need help from an outside source, someone who has the objectivity to provide the balanced approach to our needs and well being.
Politicians will look after their own interests, then their country but rarely are they truly citizens of the world. They will unite to face religion in all its forms and set out to destabilize the foundations of faith. So as Jesus stated when we perceive this to be happening we know the end is upon us.
There is very little bible prophesy to be fulfilled so using discernment and applying wisdom we need to adopt the policy of doing only what is good and complying with standards that set each of us apart by our way off life.
I don’t expect people to agree with or like the idea that we are out of control and that we need real help.

Is Truth Transforming YOUR Life?

When we come to understand a truth in life it transforms our understanding. For example at an early age we are told about the dangers of hot surfaces or flames and yet only when we come into contact (literally) do we fully appreciate the importance.

So what truths do we accept today that we haven’t actually tested? As a youth I was ridiculed by a science teacher for believing that life is a creation. His view was we can’t see God therefore we should only believe in what we know and experience.

Simple enough, however, we had a problem the truth he wanted to teach required evidence he could not provide. He stated I needed to accept that more intelligent people than me had looked into these things and life evolved. I asked “How do we know?” his response was to ridicule.

So I thought about it and decided to begin a social experiment that has lasted the rest of my life.

What happens in the lives of those who see evolution as the accepted truth and contrasting that with those who believe in Bible Truth?

Truth has a transforming power!

Having grown up in the UK in an area of deprivation (not real poverty) everyone was agreed that the only way was up, we couldn’t get much lower.

Society moved on and the wealth we experience today isn’t an indication of happiness, contentment or fulfillment.

Natural moral boundaries are limited by the rule of law.

So we have to look at other differentiaters – I chose personality.

The Bible has the power to transform human lives. The Apostle Paul refers to this using the Greek word for Metamorphosis. To grow from one state and become a new creature of great beauty.

He understood this because a truth had changed his life on the road to Damascus. A violent, angry and unreasonable zealot changed because he understood what the word of God meant.

He was among many Christians who changed review the passages at 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11 and Colossians 3: 5-10.

We are not the first generation to struggle

The Epicurean and hedonistic approach to life had a real grip on society because everyone wanted to been perceived as intellectual.

Hans Andersen expressed it well when he told the story of the Emperor’s New Clothes. No one wants to stand out as different. People struggle with concepts and just allow others to think and decide for them. That isn’t truth transforming, rather it is laziness, gullibility and recklessness.

It reminds of a story I heard a while ago, two guides offer climbers direction and instructions for a very dangerous mountain journey.

The first guide explains that to remain safe they will need to carry all this equipment and follow his tracks.

The second says well to get the most out of it take as little as you can and make your own way. In fact I’ll point you in the direction and you follow your own path.

Over simplified for many but that is the stark choice. Choose a guide or follow your own path.

For most of us we would err on the side of safety and recognise the need for guidance, for example the opening words of Jesus sermon on the mountain side provide an interesting point of self analysis Matthew 5: 3-11; verse 6 really made me stop and think.

  • Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Do I really want righteousness? or am I content to live among the have’s? Do I really believe that honesty and purity are qualities to be valued even if it costs me personally?

Does my personal desire for a rounded and mature life satisfy my desire for spirituality?

Those who accept the collective view may have an apparent freedom but they trust in flawed systems that have cost millions of lives.

Those who accept that we have spiritual needs that require guidance, therefore we need truth are hungry for knowledge, examine the bible and learn to literally stand in the footsteps of the master.

“I thought you were intelligent”

Last year a customer learned that I hold clear standards of right and wrong, even though it cost me money. He asked me why? When I explained that knowing the bible truth and that honesty always pays off, he recoiled and said “you’re a Christian! I though you were intelligent”.

So the final point of those verses (verse 11) demonstrates that other won’t understand. You can be described as having a screw loose, a troubled mind, even labelled as stupid. The customer was shocked when I mentioned to him that he might want to rethink our contracts based on this new revelation about my mental capacity.

He had no faith in anyone nor in anything. Life only matters to the one living it was his approach. So lying, deception and  bigotry were acceptable so long as it got him what he wanted. There is very little satisfaction in that because he questions everyone’s motive and try’s to get everything as cheaply as possible.

Contrast the desirable traits that the bible encourages to focus on and display recorded at Galatians 5: 22, 23.

All of these traits are outward facing and yet to display them even if they cost benefits the individual.

We have much to learn about Truth, first we must begin with asking that question do I really KNOW what is TRUTH or am I really just not that interested?

The bible explains that we will Know the Truth and the Truth will set us FREE.

Providing a reason

Life and existence are a fact we all have to come to terms with. We didn’t ask to exist, nor did we expect to exist therefore many of us search for a reason.

Look at the complexity of of our life whether you believe in faith based options like creation and evolution (yes evolution because the evidence is limited and we rely on interpretation by fallible humans) it is difficult to find real meaning to life.

If it is just to extend the species whats the point of holding on through old age and illness, what is the point of caring for the sick and the elderly? Why do we have the capacity to love, care, cry, mourn and survive?

The simple answer is because we do. Accepting that is enough for thousands, even millions and they follow popular beliefs without questioning anything.

Reasons provide the cause that links to the consequence. I fell off a wall and broke my right arm, the reason I fell off the wall came down to the fact I was smaller and lighter than the person who was trying to get up.

I was born because of the attraction my parents had for each other and I won the race for life.

But I exist because? Accident or Plan?

We have to be honest with ourselves. We want others to perceive us as educated, rational and logical people therefore we are prepared to listen to people on subjects we can’t hope to understand.

Thirty years ago I got involved in a conversation with someone on quantum physics, very quickly I was way out of my depth and it showed but I didn’t have the common sense to shut my mouth and learn. I rehearsed information from a book but my knowledge outstretched my comprehension.

The humiliation taught me a valuable lesson. If you don’t know or you are relying on what you have read or you’ve seen then it is right to put more effort in before you talk about it.

So I asked the question – is there a reason for our existence?

If I accept science and the evolutionary approach the answer is no. We have nothing but the life we live today and when we die we become a part of the planet.

If I accept the idea of a God then in the most part the answer still remains no. The reason for that is so many religions and faiths teach that life is a stopping point on the way to somewhere else. Again the only purpose becomes what we are told the reward is.

Now there is a rationale that teaches that God created life because God desired to share existence. Now this creates a new line of thought and a basis for research. What would prompt God to create a futile creature like humanity and bestow so many gifts only to see them wasted?

Did something change? Did God make a mistake? Can it be corrected?

The real value of reasons

Reasons provide a platform for discovery, we find the cause and then begin the search. Millions of £ every year are ploughed into explaining something that has a strong evidence base around us.

I have made a study of specific types of birds over the years and I am fascinated by behaviour, adjustments from continent to continent and the truly inspirational life cycles.  Finding out why has enabled me to get passed the basic understanding and appreciate the whole group.

So I located a fact, reasoned and complete, working from that point I could ask the questions and locate answers or possible answers and this led to a greater understanding.

The same is true with life and existence. Written history is very limited pre 4,000 b.c. in truth we can’t be certain that the work attributed to earlier periods is based on conjecture. Therefore we can conclude that civilisation is relatively new. What explains this?

Look at the ancient historical accounts and dismiss the idea that somehow people were more ignorant in the past. Just like the masses today they followed the common beliefs because they wanted to fit in.

As Agatha Christie would say “what really happened?” Scholars using complex symbols to represent words began to record history. These people were not fools. We are conned into believing that people couldn’t write is that a fact? or were the materials of the day perishable like our paper today or the hard drives of our PC’s.

So don’t settle for other people reasoning for you, ask the hard questions and draw conclusions from your findings.

I found answers, I discovered that we never have to stop learning and we can find the reason for our existence because it explains no matter how little life is left we view it as precious.

Social Media Shutdown

Right today was the big day. I closed – deactivated three social media accounts.

The simple reason why is they were wasting my limited time and resources. Having calculated the time spent per month on maintaining them and what I generated in return blogging is more effective.

Why I quit LinkedIn?

Last week I was outraged by one of the most sexist statements I had read for many years. The female contributor who had written the piece reacted with hostility towards any male comment on her perception.

That was fine. But when her argument was challenged rationally her response was to shout that she was being bullied. If you cannot challenge the content of a post, the perception or experience of the person then there is no reason to be in the forum.

Over the years my views have been described as stupid, uninformed, uneducated and prehistoric. The names in private messages and offensive direct messages were to be expected when I express moral bias.

Therefore where the forum doesn’t protect freedom of speech, plus open, honest and frank exchanges are unacceptable because they are viewed as bullying I decided I have better things to do with my time.

Why I quit Twitter?

With a combined account following of over 3,000 followers and as many tweets. I decided it was time to take a look at what I was achieving by putting time into this social media platform.

The answer, zero! People didn’t use the links to review blog posts and no new enquiries came from the tweets. Most of the time I was sifting unwanted links and followers.

So again it was time to ditch the twitter accounts.

Friends on facebook, followers on Twitter and connections on linkedin aren’t always what they appear to be. They drain time and energy from other more improtant things and people.

Time spent online deprives those closest to you of your  most valuable contribution to their lives, your time and interest.

Don’t get sucked in too deep, remember there are really trees outside, people who have voices and needs. One act of kindness is more fulfilling than any time spent on the internet sharing with people you don’t know.

You are valuable, your time is of great value to others so give it freely. Live a real life and leave the Avatars to the dreamers.

Blog Avoidance

Hi All,

Taking a month out of blogging has been interesting as my aim was to return to some reasonable perspective. Something you lose when the only thoughts you express are your own.

It is interesting to watch TV commentators fall into the trap of believing that their perception is shared by the majority. That somehow because they think something is right that all reasonable people feel or think the same.

It’s not true!

Reasonable people are just that, independent they collect the information, shift it through their life experience and draw their own conclusions.

So many settle for spoon fed news and opinion, they fail to explore and examine for themselves. One of my favourite examples of this is the origin of life and the universe. Science is divided, just at it is on climate change and the likelihood of an asteroid destroying the earth.

All we really know is that human history – the written record is around 5,000 years, architectural evidence from the buildings that remain limit humanity to 10,000 years anything else is guesswork.

A few weeks ago I took the time to review the evidence linked to the find that indicated that humanity had existed for more than 300,000 years. To say it is sketchy is actually over stating it, the opinion is drawn from an interpretation of knowns and then creating the association. I’m not going to say whether I think they are right or wrong. Thats for you to decide.

What I do know is everything we accept as a fact because we have been told it or seen it on TV, or read it doesn’t stack up until the whole picture is understood. Here’s the irony scientists will never know if they are right or wrong because by the time their evidence is reviewed and tested they’ll be dead.

Lesson? Don’t be sheep, every opinion and every conclusion needs to be challenged by the one person who it matters to – YOU!

My personal journey points to science being flawed on so many levels, therefore we do well to ask ourselves “am I satisfied with academics interpreting the world around me or do I need to understand for myself?” I decided the latter. It makes a real difference.

I have read science, philosophy, history and many religious books, the conclusion I have drawn echos the words of the Bible Proverb “everything is vanity and striving after the wind”.

For a species that needs to be in control we are the most chaotic, life form in the universe like a dog chasing its tail happy lost in ourselves. We need to look outwards and find the real meaning of life, existence and what fulfillment is.

Thanks for reading.

Eradicating Extremism

Prophesy is fulfilled as more governments look at the impact of war on the streets of their countries.

Europe has seem part of the middle east battle field move to the major cities and has no real solution.

This morning there have been calls for all suspected or associated persons to be interned for the safety of the majority.

Hard line commentators express the view that this is the only way to achieve the safety of citizens. Liberals express the view that you can’t punish people for what they might do, also it is a denial of the fundamental human right to freedom of thought and religion.

So if and I say IF you were to promote the incarceration of thousands of people where would you begin.

Current examples

Two countries spring to mind immediately The Russian Federation and Eritrea. Anyone who fails to acknowledge that the state has the right to dictate everything that is believed, that the state itself is the most important organisation is an extremist.

For example 3 individuals have been held in custody in Eritrea with out a trial for over 20 years; the crime? They obey God before the government. What this meant in practice was they accepted the civil rules but clearly stated they lived for Gods Government. The state declared them non-citizens, interned them and has left them there without a trail for more than 20 years.

The Russian Federation has identified the non-combative stance of a religious group as extremism because again the way of worship requires they obey the civil authority but promote Gods Government.

Germany, Italy, Canada, the UK and so many other countries adopted this view during the 20th Century.

Jesus of Nazareth

The bible clearly identifies him as the son of God. Yet with all his power to heal, feed and calm the state decided he was too dangerous. Why? because his Kingdom was not from “this (human) source”.

An apostle of Jesus clearly told followers “Christians” of his day to pay tax, to obey the law but also to advocate Jesus Kingdom.

Many times the Lords pray is recited during times of extreme trouble Matthew 6: 9 through 14. We pray for Gods Kingdom to come and his will to be done. We are praying for the end of the human style of rulership.

Psalm 2 helps us to appreciate how the rulers of this world view Gods Kingdom, they take their stand against it. Although like the ant on the track trying to stop the approaching train they are powerless.

Daniel chapter 2

Having described an immense image Daniel then says (Daniel 2:44, 45) 44 “In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever, 45 just as you saw that out of the mountain a stone was cut not by hands, and that it crushed the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold. The Grand God has made known to the king what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and its interpretation is trustworthy.”

Society reflects the previous verse (Daniel 2:43) 43 Just as you saw iron mixed with soft clay, they will be mixed with the people; but they will not stick together, one to the other, just as iron does not mix with clay.

This is reflected in the prophesy at (Luke 21:26-28) . . .People will become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 But as these things start to occur, stand up straight and lift up your heads, because your deliverance is getting near.”

The leaders have no answers to a fractured or broken/polarised society. Outrage after outrage is raising the levels of fear in government, the Response of the Russian Federation and Eritrea indicates that governments are going to begin the process of dismantling religion in the pursuit peace. The state becomes more restrictive.

Fearful of what happens next?

Christians can not be fearful because when the Governments of the World take a stand against extremism or non-conforming belief this is a sign that we are approaching the point of divine intervention.

This is the time to recognise the sign, to acknowledge Christs ruler ship and that we are looking at the biggest change in human history.

The fight against Christianity has already started, it will be replicated in a way that appears to promote peace and tolerance because Christianity is easier to break than Islam. Take out the one and then clear the way to remove the rest.

We live in a time of real tension but like waiting for the Bridegroom and Bride on the wedding day we are in expectation of it. Therefore Keep On the Watch!

Real Life beginnings

Genesis – a simple concept the creation of everything from nothing by a creatorIMAG0235_BURST002. However we all have our own beginnings, fresh starts, re-genesis at key points in our lives.

For example when we find that special someone who will change us because we want to develop with them. We change them. Or at the birth of our children, now they really are a new beginning.

For those without children life is relatively straightforward and with children it can be but the change or new beginning is becoming the parent.

The Why?

Often as a parent we are asked why does this happen..? or can’t we do that…? and the answer is our better judgement indicates it’s too dangerous. The parent who drives but is too afraid to let their teenage child drive because of the reckless side of the teen or other drivers. To the teen it smacks of hypocrisy but its experience speaking and concern for their well fare.

You know that never goes away.

So Why?

The creator our parent has set boundaries, indicates concern and demonstrates care, because of that we have the opportunity for new beginnings.

Our bodies have the capacity to heal. So when faced with type 2 diabetes we don’t start digging our grave, we begin again by changing our life style.

Spiritually we have the capacity to heal, to become reconciled to God. To find favour with the creator by literally addressing the things that are wrong in our lives.

We see a world wracked with suffering and poverty, oppression and cruelty, but also we see riches beyond the imagination of millions. Injustice is the ugly face of the 21st Century, political, social, moral and spiritual the corruption permeates our whole lives. Why? the bible makes it plain (1 John 5:19) . . .We know that we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.

Taking the parent analogy (1 John 2:13) . . .I am writing you, fathers, because you have come to know him who is from the beginning. I am writing you, young men, because you have conquered the wicked one. . . .

So the world is controlled by the wicked one – the one who took Jesus to a high mountain and showed him the kingdoms of the earth and said you can have – yes they were his to give. Satan is controlling this world. – There is the answer to why we need a new beginning.

If you dug a well and found the water to be bitter or unsafe, and the reason was something simple like who owned the land wouldn’t you look to relocate?

The New Beginning

(2 Peter 3:9) . . .Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.

The opportunity to begin again is based on Gods patience.

(John 3:16-21) . . .“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him. 18 Whoever exercises faith in him is not to be judged. Whoever does not exercise faith has been judged already, because he has not exercised faith in the name of the only-begotten Son of God. 19 Now this is the basis for judgment: that the light has come into the world, but men have loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were wicked. 20 For whoever practices vile things hates the light and does not come to the light, so that his works may not be reproved. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that his works may be made manifest as having been done in harmony with God.”

Read the whole text and note verse 21. Gods love is open to all but not unconditional we have to begin our new life by accepting our works, what we do with our lives must be in harmony with Gods Word.

The reward is “life”, true freedom and a relationship with the creator.

So the changes required

The bible clearly speaks to those who have a  love for God and exhorts that we make real changes in how we think, the way we live our lives, our participation is fruitless activities like Politics. If we have started to serve God and pray for his kingdom to come – we must advocate that Kingdom. As advocates we can’t then associate ourselves with political ideals that further divide and damage people. We stand for God’s Kingdom therefore we have already voted and accept the greater rulership of God in our lives.

Then we make certain we have taken real action, note the words (1 Peter 3:21) . . .Baptism, which corresponds to this, is also now saving you (not by the removing of the filth of the flesh, but by the request to God for a good conscience), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Yes we see alignment with this corrupt system as dirty, unclean and just as when we put the past behind and begin again we sweep the dirt and filth away.

Life is about beginnings, it requires honest appraisal and considerable effort but the rewards of greater value than all the riches this world has to offer.

Read the bible and find out what it teaches.

Hope For Humanity

Political posturing creates an inevitable level of insecurity as experience has taught us all that we can’t trust any government where short term thinking is at the heart of its decision making.

So over the weekend I settled my mind to reflect on the things that are most important to us all.

Governments provide the minimum or basic levels of care with little attention to getting to the cause of disease and illness, the impact of human domination and restricting access. Would you cure malaria? TB? Leprosy? and so many other preventable diseases. My first answer is Yes, deal with the immediate problem and then prevent it where it can be done.

Half the world is so poor they don’t know if there is a next meal and the other half gluttony has caused so many ailments.

Billions are spent on curing a preventable situation if things were shared on the basis of real need. It is nice to have luxury but not at the expense of a child’s eyesight or an elderly persons care.

Solution? Jesus fed the crowds, cared for the illnesses that physicians hadn’t been able to cure. His Kingdom will restore health and wellbeing to all those who chose to serve him. Remember the words that everlasting life is the product of exercising faith and getting to know him and his father.

Simple really if you know someone can do it why settle for a poor imitation. Human governments never solve problems.

Therefore we all need to begin with the simple things, read the Bible, find out what it really teaches, then do it.

Often we chose not to do things because they are difficult but think if by doing what is right you solve the problems of the world – that child will see, the older person will live contentedly then it is a no brainer.

Take care to begin with reading something every day.

Can be a demonstration of stoicism being determined to do something although the situation makes it difficult. We admire resolution! No we don’t we prefer resolution to incorporate the resolving of issues, delivering clarity or improving our understanding.

The reason for that is every martyr is resolute. Determined to finish what they had started.

Extremism is probably the ultimate expression of unconditional support for what someone believes.

Beating extremism

Governments have resolved to beat extremism and break down the barriers to integration. Sadly unless everyone believes the same or follows the same path this approach either raises more barriers or disenfranchises the victims.

Policy made in haste has lead to real issues. For example we have in Russia a no violent and non-political group who are recognized as law abiding citizens labelled as extremist because they fail to acknowledge and support the government and orthodox religion in their literature.

The ideology that there can only be one right way to worship God is now extremist. If you advocate Theocracy you are an extremist because you acknowledge that God’s laws have primacy.

Based on the same logic every politician that doesn’t vote for the government is opposed to them and if they advocate alternate solutions then it is an expression of discord.

Governments cannot control thoughts, therefore they can never know who is a risk to society until they have acted.

Seeking to integrate incompatible ideology is like trying to mix oil and water. The agitation in the mixing creates massive levels of instability.

So human governments no matter how totalitarian they become will never prevent opposition and therefore conflict. One persons freedom fighter is another persons terrorist.

So those who accept that exclusive devotion to God, those who advocate God’s Kingdom, those who accept that Christ died for all must recognize that they will be separated for special attention in the coming months.

True Christians will not hide behind political correctness, nor will they tickle the ears of the listeners the Gospel is clear – we pray for God’s Kingdom to rule on earth as it it in heaven.

Whilst we commit ourselves to peace we create violent opposition so be prepared for a stormy period.

Almost 100 years ago a great evangelist preached that “religion is a snare and racket” mixing in political and social reform, presenting alternatives to Gods Kingdom as the solution to humankind’s problems.

If you want to know how to beat extremism, see resolution in action then follow this link to the begin your personal search of what the Bible really teaches
